This course has done great justice in exploring the role, responsibilities and duties of a teacher. As it is important for a teacher to take on a teaching approach that best suits the subject and the students concerned, this course is set to train you on the various learning and teaching approaches to help you decide on the most suitable one. You will also be taught on how to plan sessions in advance, how to deliver engaging lessons, how to motivate pupils and how to assess them.

The course will cover the following 3 modules of study:

  • Roles and Responsibilities.
  • Inclusive Teaching and Learning..
  • Understanding Assessment.

Learners must complete the following to achieve the Award:

  • Three written assignments
  • One micro teaching session (which can be submitted as a recorded video)
